36-Month Report (Excelview)

The 36-Month Report is an Excelview that allows financial data to be analyzed over an extended period.

With this report, figures can be exported by General Ledger Account for up to 36 months.

Report Overview

This report is available through:

Main Menu → Open Reports → Excelviews

Select the Export Figures by Account per Period tile to open the 36-Month Report.

Report Contents

After exporting to Excel, the data is presented in a clear and structured format:

  • Rows → General Ledger Accounts / Groups

  • Columns → Periods (Months)

This makes it easy to compare figures across multiple months.

Export Structure

When the report is exported, two worksheets are created:

Movements per Period​

  • Displays the amounts for each month.

  • Suitable for detailed analysis.

Cumulative Amounts per Period​

  • Displays cumulative values for each month.

  • Suitable for trend analysis.

Applications

The 36-Month Report is commonly used for:

  • Creating PivotTables in Excel.

  • Analyzing trends over multiple months.

  • Comparing performance across different periods.

  • Performing custom analyses outside Factview.

Because all data is available in Excel, users can further process and analyze it according to their own requirements.
